San Diego-based Verimatrix announced this morning that the firm has scored a new, Series C round of funding led by Goldman Sachs. Prior investors Crescendo Investments, Cipio Partners and Mission Ventures also participated in the round, with Goldman Sachs' Rohit Malhotra joining the firm's board of directors. Verimatrix said the funding will go towards aggressive business expansion and to accelerate deployment of its products.
