Veritone Acquires Atigeo

Costa Mesa-based artificial intelligence software developer Veritone said late Wednesday that it has acquired the software and intellectual property of Atigeo Corporation. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Atigeo said it acquired the software plus 60 issued and pending patents covering various aspects of Atigeo's data science technology. The company also said it plans to hire former Atigeo data scientists and software engineers. Atigeo had been based in Bellevue, Washington and was backed by Ascension Ventures.
