    Versora Ships Linux Migration Toolkit

Santa Barbara-based Versora and Win4Lin said yesterday that the two companies have bundled their software together to provide a desktop migration toolkit for Windows users moving to Linux. The "Complete Linux Desktop Migration and Virtualization Toolkit" includes Versora's desktop data migration software, and Win4Lin's software for running Windows 2000 and XP applications on Linux. The two companies are hoping to gain customers who are looking to migrate their desktop data and settings from Windows onto the open source Linux operating system. The two companies are offering the toolkit via download on their web sites for $99 per license.
