Viewsonic Reorganizes After Poor Results
Walnut-based display maker Viewsonic said late yesterday that it has reorganized the firm, making a number of executive changes and dropping the firm's President of ViewSonic Americas. The moves came after the company reported poor financial results for the quarter, with sales dropping from $192.6M in Q3 of 2006 to $163.7M for Q3 of this year. According to ViewSonic, Alan Chang takes over as managing director of ViewSonic EMEA and ViewSonic Americas, replacing both Matthew Milne and Jan Jensen, who have left the company. Chang was ViewSonic's Asia Pacific managing director. ViewSonic is a manufacturer of LCD monitors, TVs, projectors, and other displays.
