Virgin Galactic Sets Return To Space

Mojave-based Virgin Galactic, the commercial spaceflight company backed by Sir Richard Branson, is set to unveil its new SpaceShipTwo aircraft today, as part of a relaunch of the company towards space. The company--which had a major setback in 2014, when its spacecraft broke apart in testing, killing a pilot of the craft--is announcing the move today in Mojave. Virgin Galactic has been focusing in on testing and other procedures since the, to prevent similar issues for occurring on its new spacecraft. Virgin released a video back in November talking about those testing procedures and its efforts to return to space.
