Irvine-based Visiogen announced Wednesday morning that it has received $24M in a venture capital round, led by CMEA Ventures. Other investors in the round included Foundation Medical Partners, Three Arch Partners, New Leaf Venture Partners, and Prospect Venture Partners. Visiogen is developing an intraocular lens used for lens replacement. The company last raised a round of funding in 2003. More information »
