Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor (www.vitesse.com) has introduced a new line of triple speed (10/100/1000 Mbps) Ethernet Media Access Controllers (MACs). The new products support copper-based Gigabit Ethernet, and provide 24-, 16-, and 12- ports for Ethernet line card designs. The products are used by OEMs in developing Gigabit Ethernet hardware products.
