    Vitesse Expands Products


    Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor (www.vitesse.com) has introduced several new products. The company has added a new failover switch for Serial ATA (SATA) and a line-driver/buffer/mux-demux for Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). The two new components are focused on the company's storage IC business. Separately, the company announced a new quad 6.5 Gbps transciever for high speed networking, computing, storage networking, and metropolitan area networking applications.
