Vitesse Gets Chip Win With Napera Networks
Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor has scored a design win for its Ethernet switching chips, the firm said Monday. According to Vitesse, the firm's Ethernet Switch and Gigabit Copper PHY chips have been selected by Napera Networks for its network access control (NAC) products. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Vitesse's ICs are used for managing Ethernet networks and at the physical layer for connecting copper networks.
