Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor (www.vitesse.com) has announced a new iSCSI development platform, in conjunction with Silverback Systems. The PCI-X platform combines Silverback's iSCSI chips and Vitesse Gigabit Ethernet transceivers in a reference board for host bus adapter (HBA) design for the new, IP-based storage networking protocol.
