Los Angeles-based Vivendi games announced this morning that it has acquired Santiago, Chile-based Wanako games. wanako is a game development studio developing Xbox Live titles. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wanako developed the Xbox Live Arcade title Assault Heroes, and is working on 3-D Ultra Minigolf Adventures. Esteban Sosnik, founder and CEO of Wanako Games, will become head of Sierra Online's Latin America division.
