Irvine-based HDTV manufacturer VIZIO said this morning that it has licensed its digital TV patent portfolio to Westinghouse Digital LLC, a manufacturer of HDTVs, settling a patent dispute between the companies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, VIZIO said that Westinghouse has agreed to make royalty payments to VIZIO for sales of licensed products.
