VMIX, Qik Partner On Mobile Streaming

San Diego-based VMIX, which provides an online service for managing online video for publishers, said today that it is in a strategic partnership with Qik, a provider of mobile live streaming services. VMIX said that the two are integrating Qik's Mobile Live Streaming technology with VMIX's platform, to provide VMIX customers with a way to stream live video from mobile phones. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
