Volta Trucks Plans EV Truck Pilot In LA

Swedish electric truck maker Volta said on Thursday that it plans to launch its electric trucks into the United States, starting with a pilot in Los Angeles. The EV maker develops heavy duty trucks which are meant for use in urban areas, and which have a range of approximately 95 to 125 miles. The company said it initially will roll out its vehicles as a service. The company says its initial deployment in the United States will include 100 trucks.
