VU Games Goes Mobile
Los Angeles-based Vivendi Universal Games has opened up a new division to focus on mobile games. The firm said today that its new division, Vivendi Universal Games Mobile (VUG Mobile) will be dedicated to publishing games for the emerging mobile games market. As part of the new division, VU Games has hired Paul Maglione, who was formerly Senior VP of Marketing of mobile games publisher I-play/Digital Bridges. The new unit is based in Paris, France with regional North American headquarters here in Los Angeles. The VUG Mobile franchise will include the popular Crash Bandicoot line, along with Spyro the Dragon, Leisure Suit Larrey, and Empire Earth.
