WageSpot Launches To Map Out Salaries, Pay

Ever wonder what people around you are getting paid? A new, Woodland Hills-based startup, WageSpot, said Tuesday that it has launched, offering up a way for people to see what other people are being paid near them on a map, while filtering for things like age, industry, gender, experience, and more. The startup--founded by Raphael Morozov and Marat Galperin--said its app is free and available for download for both iOS and Android. WageSpot said the app is aimed at letting job seekers better understand what others are being paid, letting entrepreneurs evaluate potential of market locations where they hope to launch, help workers see what opportunities there are in different companies or locations, and more. The new app is focused on showing those salaries, plotted on a map.
