San Dimas-based Wavestream, a manufacturer of power amplifiers for the communications market, has appointed a new Executive Vice President of Engineering and Technology. Wavestream said this week that Francis S. Auricchio,Jr. will take the position, and will oversee the firm's engineering and technology operations. Auricchio joins from Beoing Satellite Systems. Wavestream manufacturers compact, high-efficiency solid-state power amplifiers. The firm is backed by Oak Investment Partners and others, and is based on technology from Caltech. More information »
