San Diego-based Websense said today that it is in an agreement to acquired Palo Alto-based PortAuthority Technologies, in a deal worth $90M in cash. PortAuthority is a provider of information leak prevention technology. The firms have been working together via an OEM technology alliance since September. The acquisition is expected to close in January.
