WebVisible Names Board Member
Irvine-based WebVisible, a provider of local online advertising, has appointed a new member of its board of directors. WebVisible is reporting that Patrick Marshall, former Group Vice President of Verizon Information Services, has joined the company's board. Marshall headed Verizon's SuperPages.com efforts. WebVisible develops software for local online advertising, targeted at publishers of Yellow Pages. The firm reports that its resellers include Dex Media, Canadian Yellow Pages Group, and BellSouth. WebVisible is a service of SME Global Solutions, which is funded by Redpoint Ventures.
