    Wind River, Green Hills Settle

Santa Barbara-based Green Hills Software and competitor Wind River Systems said today that the companies have settled all current litigation between the companies. The non-monetary settlement calls for Wind River to provide Green Hills with the object code to Wind River's VxWorks real time operating system. The two companies have been in a contract dispute over Wind River's failure to honor a contract to provide VxWorks updates to joint customers. VxWorks is a popular operating system used for embedded applications, in manufacturing, aerospace, and commercial embedded products.
