    X1 Connects Into Exchange, SharePoint


    Pasadena-based X1 Technologies is moving further into the enterprise space, with the announcement doay that the company has new Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint connectors. The new components allow X1 Enterprise users to search and interact with Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office documents. X1 said that its new connectors provide the ability to search across Exchange Server clusters, through integration with Microsoft Outlook Web Access. X1 said that the connector for Microsoft Exchange is available now, and that the new integration with Microsoft's popular SharePoint portal tool will be available in August. X1's tools are used for desktop search, allowing users to search and index all the files on their local desktops and email.
