Pasadena-based X1 Technologies, the Idealab startup which develops desktop search software, announced today that it has signed up more than 300 customers who have deployed the company's enterprise product, X1 Enterprise Search Suite. X1 develops both enterprise search and desktop text search product which searches computer documents and enterprise networks, and also develops the white labeled Yahoo! Desktop Search software. The firm said that the enterprise customers come in addition to the "hundreds of thousands" of individuals and small and medium businesses who have purchased its X1 Professional Client software.
