Pasadena-based X1 has upgraded its desktop search tool, providing its paid users with a more standard user interface, enhanced search functions. The new version follows its recent rollout of its desktop search for Yahoo, a free, private-labeled version of the company's desktop search tool. Separately, X1 announced that the company will roll out a version of its X1 search tool which supports Lotus Notes email messages and attachments, Lotus Notes databases, and contacts. The new Lotus Notes compatible version will ship in late Q1.
