Xdrive Turns Cell Phones Into PCs

Santa Monica-based Xdrive is launching another cell phone application today, with a new service which turns cell phones into mobile PCs. The company, which recently launched a streaming music service for cell phones, is now also offering a way for wireless users to access files, folders, email, and more via the company's file sharing service. The Xdrive service gives full WAP access to user files through the company's Xdrive account, and allows users to access any files they upload to the service via a WAP-enabled cell phone.
