    Xingtone Supports iTunes Phone

Los Angeles-based Xingtone announced today that its newest version of its mobile content distribution service provides support for new iTunes/Motorola ROKR compatibility. The firm said that its ringtone software supports the new Motorola wireless phone with Apple iTunes support. The company's software allows users to create customized ringtones from any audio file, for upload into a mobile phone. The company's software sends ringtones to a user's telephone through text messaging and Internet connectivity, and is available for PC and Macintosh platforms. Software makers such as Xingtone have been eager to demonstrate support for the new iTunes platform, hoping to capitalize on Apple's iPod popularity.
