    Xirrus Adds Wireless Load Balancing

Westlake Village-based Xirrus, a provider of Wi-Fi arrays, said today that it has added load balancing capability to its products. The firm said that all of its Wi-Fi arrays now support load balancing of wireless channels, tracking load on Wi-Fi channels and automatically moving stations to improve throughput. The firm said that the technique works without the need for loading end-user software. Xirrus is funded by August Capital and US Venture Partners.
