Xirrus Teams With BYU-Idaho On Patent

Westlake Village-based Xirrus, a developer of wireless devices, said today that it has teamed up with Brigham Young University-Idaho on a patent submission. Xirrus said that the patent covers automated testing and self-healing for the firm's Wi-Fi arrays, and is a result of a large deployment of the firm's arrays at the BYU-Idaho campus. The patent is still pending and has not yet been granted by the patent office. Xirrus is a developer of wireless array hardware.
