    XSCapacity Raises Funding Round

Irvine-based Venture Farm said Monday that it has invested in XSCapacity, a firm which provides an online marketplace for truck shipping capacity. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. XSCapacity allows ground freight shippers to post shipping requirements in an online marketplace, and get competitive bids from carriers. Venture Farm, which is headed by Sid Mohasseb, is a firm which targets the gap between angel and venture capital funding with both funding and operational support.
