    Yahoo Adds Travel Content

In a further expansion into online services, Yahoo said today that it has added a new online travel guide that allows users to plan and share personalized trip itineraries. The company's new beta of a travel service ties in photos from Flickr, vacation home rentals, and other online services. The service ties into a database of travel information and travel guides from Yahoo, and the Yahoo travel booking options. The new service also includes maps and driving directions, ability to search through shared travel itineraries, and the ability to print the trip itinerary. The move follows its announcement Monday that it has signed Richard Bangs, an adventure expert, to provide adventure travel-related content to its web site.
