Pasadena-based YellowPages.com and Switchboard announced yesterday that the two companies have signed a distribution agreement to provide YellowPages.com advertisers on the Switchboard online directory network. YellowPages.com, a joint venture between SBC Communications and BellSouth, and Switchboard, a wholly-owned subsidiary of InfoSpace, said that the deal would allow YellowPages.com advertisers to have priority distribution in SwitchBoard.com search results. The companies are targeting the local search advertising space. YellowPages.com also operates the SMARTpages.com and RealPages.com telephone directory web sites.
