Irvine-based Zetera said this week that the first commercial product to incorporate its IP-based SAN technology is now available. Netgear has shipped a new product, Storage Centeral, based on Zetera's IP storage protocol and technology. Zetera is developing a proprietary IP based storage protocol for connecting storage devices to hosts. The company's technology is targeted at the mass consumer market, and is designed for incorporation into storage hardware systems.
