ZipRecruiter Expands Headquarters In LA, Hits Nearly 1,000 Employees

Los Angeles-based online employment marketplace operator ZipRecruiter says it is expanding into a brand new headquarters in Los Angeles, as it says it has hit nearly 1,000 employees. The company said the new 45,000 square foot headquarters will house 400 of its employees. The company--which is only eight years old--says it also has two other major operations centers, in Tempe, Arizona and Tel Aviv, Israel. ZipRecruiter has taken over the space that has previously held Google and ROC on Arizona Avenue in Santa Monica. The company is led by CEO Ian Siegel. ZipRecruiter is one of LA's unicorns--or at least, a near-unicorn--based on the company's latest reported funding round, which was in 2017.
