Zumbox Scores New Zealand Post

Westlake Village-based Zumbox, the digital postal delivery service headed by John Payne, announced this morning that it has scored a licensing deal with New Zealand Post. Zumbox said that the postal service has licensed its platform to develop market offerings to provide mailers and consumers a way to digitally deliver and store postal mail. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Zumbox is developing white label software for delivering digital mail based on street address, rather than a user's name or email address. In recent months the firm has increasingly focused in on digital delivery of bills. Payne is the former head of Stamps.com.
