Activision Sues TikTok Video Creator Over Audio Clip

Santa Monica-based Activision has sued a Tiktok user, asking a court to rule that the company did not infringe on that user's rights when it used the sound from that user's clip in the video game Crash Bandicoot. The short video went viral and has become a meme. Activision claims the user has asked for an "extortionate" amount of money to license his recording.
