Arima Genomics Finds Series A Funding

San Diego-based Arima Genomics, a startup working on research tools for understanding genome sequence and structure, said this morning that it has raised a Series A funding round. Size of the funding was not announced. THe funding was led by Agilent Technologies and Cowin Venture, and also included Vectr Ventures and Berkeley Catalyst Fund. The company said the funding round will go towards expansion of its commercial efforts, and also towards scaling of its operations, customer service, and support.
