BlackLine Sets Chief Strategy Officer

Los Angeles-based BlackLine has named a new Chief Strategy Officer, according to the company. Blackline, which develops software used for financial close and accounting automation, said it has named Tammy Coley to the post of Chief Strategy Officer. Coley was previously Executive director, Enterprise Accounting, and Internal Controls Governance at Cox Communications, where she had been since 2003. Coley also has served at Ernst & Young and Sloan Financial Group. BlackLine, which is led by Therese Tucker, noted that with Coley's appointment, 50 percent of its C-suite are women.
