Blue Microphones Acquired By Logitech For $117M

Westlake Village-based Blue Microphones, which develops high end USB and other microphones, used both by professionals as well as amateurs in music recording, podcasting, YouTube streaming, and more, has been acquired by Logitech. The deal is worth $117M in cash. Blue Microphones was led by CEO John Maier. Logitech said Blue Microphones' products are used by such artists as Bob Dylan and Imagine Dragons, and said the acquisition will help accelerate its entry into a growing market.
