Clearlake Capital Buys Ticket Evolution

Santa Monica-based private equity investor Clearlake Capital says it has acquired Ticket Evolution, which operates a ticket resale marketplace for sports and event tickets. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to Clearlake Capital, the acquisition came via Victory Live, an event management and ticketing technology platform which is backed by the company, and ticket industry veteran Sam Soni. Ticket Evolution provided a marketplace which allowed professional ticket resellers and others to sell sports and event tickets, inluding handling ticket fulfillment and delivery.
