COMMUNITYx Gets $2M To Connect People With Causes

Los Angeles-based COMMUNITYx, a new startup which says it is helping connect people with causes they are passionate about, has raised $2M in a seed funding. The funding was led by Fearless Fund, and also included Goodwater Capital, Techstars, plus angels Ben Crump, Pharrell Williams' Black Ambition, Baron Davis, Matt Barnes and others. COMMUNITYx is led by CEO and Founder Chloe Cheyenne. The company said its site has categories for causes in racial justice, climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, women's rights, health and human rights issues, civic engagement, education and policy reform.
