Companies Plan Fully Autonomous, AI-Powered Restaurant In Pasadena

Cali Group, Miso Robotics, and PopID said this morning that they are planning to open what they call the first, autonomous, AI-powered restaurant in the world. According to the companies, they are launching CaliExpress by Flippy, a "fully autonomous" restaurant which will feature fully automated grill and fry stations, which are powered by artificial intelligence and robotics, with guests ordering their food on self-ordering kiosks. The companies said the new restaurant will be located at the northwest corner of Green Street and Madison Avenue at 561 E. Green St. in Pasadena. The company said that the restaurant will open -- via reservation only -- this month.
