Daisy Aims At Home Automation Market With Seed Funding

Newport Beach-based Daisy said it has launched a new, national home technology services brand, which it says will focus on helping help individuals and families with the installation, maintenance and usability of technology in their homes. The company said it received a seed funding round, from "family offices, home automation industry insiders, franchise industry leaders, and PE and investment banking executives.". Daisy is led by co-founder and CEO Hagan Kappler. The company said Kappler previously has worked with such brands as ServiceMaster Clean, Merry Maids, Starbucks, Terminix, Trane, and Club Car.
