Datto, With New Offices In Irvine, Acquires Gluh

Datto, a developer of cloud-based software for the managed service provider (MSP) market--which just opened up a new office in Irvine--said that it has acquired Gluh Pty Ltd, an Australian company which develops software that allows MSPs to simplify procurement of IT products and services. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Datto is owned by private equity investor Vista Equity Partners. Gluh is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and will maintain its Melbourne operations, according to Datto. Datto announced on February 24th that it had opened up a brand new office in Irvine, California, which will include a full sales engineering team; it's unclear how those plans have progressed due to the current pandemic, but the location at 400 Spectrum Center Drive had opened with an event in February attended by local government officials.
