DDN Seeks To Buy Tintri Out Of Bankruptcy

DataDirect Networks, the developer of data storage products specifically aimed at the big data and high performance computing (HPC) market which has its main location in Chatsowrth, is looking to buy bankrupt data storage array maker Tintri. According to DataDirect Networks, it entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with DDN, as of July 18th, where DDN has offered to acquire "substantially all" of the assets of Tintri. Financial details of the acquisition offer wer enot announced. Tintri is a developer of flash-based data storage products and storage arrays. As part of those acquisition efforts, DDN said on Monday that it has reached a reseller agreement with Tintri, which will allow the company to provide Tintri's customers with products, services, and system expansion for Tintri platforms. DDN is led by CEO and co-founder Alex Bouzari.
