DishDivvy Picks Up $1.3M For Home Cooked Meal Delivery Marketplace

Tired of eating and ordering out, and really want a home cooked meal, but can't cook your own? Los Angeles-based DishDivvy said this morning that it has raised $1.3M in a pre-seed funding to create a marketplace, which connects skilled home cooks to local customers. The company said the funding was led by 10X Venture, and also included early employees and senior executives of DoorDash, Etsy, Eaze, and MasterClass. DishDivvy said its platform connects people with authentic, homemade food through both pick-up and delivery. the company's founder and CEO is Ani Torosyan.
