EDF Renewable Energy Wins Wind Deal In Oklahoma
San Diego-based renewable energy developer EDF Renewable Energy has signed a big, 120 megawatt wind energy deal in Oklahoma. According to EDF Renewable Energy, it has signed an agreement to supply Kimberly-Clark Corporation with 120 MW of wind energy from the Rock Falls Wind Project in Oklahoma, the first use of utility-scale renewable energy by the Kimberly-Clark. EDF Renewable Energy said the deal is part of an effort by Kimberly-Clark to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 20%, well ahad of a 2022 goal by the consumer products giant.
