Emergent Ties With 3D Animation Firm

Calabasas-based Emergent Game Technologies, a provider of video game development tools, said this morning that it has integrated its Gamebryo LightSpeed product with 3D game animation firm Mixamo. The two firms said that LightSpeed developers will have access to Mixamo's new animation services through its products. The integration comes through LightSpeed's partner program. Mixamo maintains a collection of 3D motion animation, derived from motion capture. Emergent develops the Gamebryo LightSpeed engine, which is widely used in the video game industry as an engine for video game development.
