FitOn Finds $40M For Fitnesss App

Los Angeles-based FitOn, which develops fitness apps and digital fitness content, has raised $40M in a new funding round, the company announced this morning. The company said the funding was led by Delta-v Capital, and also included Accel, Maverick Ventures, Second Avenue Partners and Mantis VC along with a strategic investment from United Talent Agency's venture fund, UTA VC. The company hsa now raised a total of $70M. According to the company, as part of the funding, it has acquired Peerfit, a corporate wellness company. FitOn is led by co-founder and CEO Lindsay Cook.
