Masimo Rolls Out Remote Patient Monitoring App

Irvine-based Masimo, the developer of patient monitoring devices, is making it easier for healthcare providers to monitor the condition of their patients, with a new application for smartphones and tablets. According to Masimo, it said it has released an app called Replica, which lets clinicians continuously monitor data for multiple patients under their care, in real time, from anywhere. Pricing on the new offering was not announced. According to Masimo, the new smartphone and tablet app works with its Patient SafetyNet product, which provides similar capabilities albeit at a physical central viewing station on site.
