MovieCoin Names COO

Los Angeles-based MovieCoin, a blockchain startup which says it is developing a platform to help investors finance major motion pictures using tokens, has named Jeff Ivers as its Chief Operating Officer. Ivers was previously COO, CFO and EVP of Business Affairs and M&A at Participant Media. Ivers also was co-founder of theatrical distribution company Triton Pictures, and served as CFO of the Motion Picture Corporation of America, and served as SVP at MGM/UA Home Entertainment. He started as a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Co. MovieCoin's Chairman and CEO is Christopher Woodrow.
