MaxLinear Partners With Hitron ON MoCA Network Hardware

Carlsbad-based MaxLinear, which develops radio frequency and analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, has inked a partnership with Hitron Technologies America on a series of multi-gigabit, broadband access devices using the MoCA 2.5 standard. MaxLinear said it is providing its single-chip, multi gigabit MoCA networking ICs to Hitron for a number of broadband networking products. Financial impact and shipping volumes on the win were no announced.
